Sergey Rostovtsev's victory in Antalya
Organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Turkish Cycling Federation and the Cycling Tourism Association, the 128-kilometer race of the series, which is also in the calendar of the World Cycling Union (UCI) and started last week, called the 'Apollo GP', started in the Ancient City of Side in Manavgat.
The athletes, who started in front of the Temple of Apollo and proceeded through the ancient city to the D-400 Highway, then completed the race by returning to Side Mahallesi from the Çakış Junction, Deniz Tepesi Mahallesi, Bereket Mahallesi and D-400 highway Örenşehir Mahallesi route.
Russian athlete Sergey Rostovtsev won the first place in the organization. German Adrian Zuger came second and Kazakh Vladimir Mulagaleev came third in the race full of struggle.
The medals were given to the winners by Turkish Cycling Federation President Emin Müftüoğlu and Cycling Tourism Association President Recep Şamil Yaşacan.
The Turkish Winter Races Series will continue to start every weekend from important historical regions of Antalya.
